MySQL InnoDB corrupted
Posted on Sunday 23 October 2011, at 17:14 UTC
MySQL managed to corrupt its InnoDB database, we are trying to fix that now, meanwhile all MySQL databases are down.
Edit: We managed to dump all databases except one and to do a raw copy of all data. We are currently reimporting all databases from dump to a fresh InnoDB base.
Edit: Here we are, everything is back online, contact us if your database is not successfully back up.

Git User's Survey 2011
Posted on Monday 19 September 2011, at 18:11 UTC
Yup, sometimes there is news for something other than services outages!
We were kindly asked to announce that the Git User's Survey 2011 is now up!
Please devote a few minutes of your time to fill out the simple questionnaire; it'll help the Git community understand your needs, what you like about Git (and what you don't), and overall help us improve it.
The survey will be open from 5 September to 3 October 2011.
The results will be published at GitSurvey2011.
Oh wait!, kernel.org is down at the moment. Ok, it'll probably be back up at 3 October but we are talking again about a service outage there, what a mishap...
Partial power outage
Posted on Thursday 18 August 2011, at 13:58 UTC
In the early morning (05:02 UTC) we lost one of our power feeds. Luckily the only host impacted was the temporary VHFFS database host, which is now used due to the hard drives incident on the former host.
Everything is back online and impacted services were obviously Primary mail (smtp, pop, imap, webmail, mailing lists…), Primary DNS, and Jabber.
